best quote from the 2005 Manitoba Library Association conference
the man who delivered the session on 'voluntary simplicity' called Nicole Ritchie "Paris Hilton's funny little friend". how perfect is that? that is what i shall be calling her from now on...you all should too!

Sounds about right to me. She does remind me a bit of a garden gnome. Or a troll. Stroke her hair and blow on her ass and you get a wish granted by her washed-up father. Very troll-like.
you're right, she is a troll! he was so cute and earnest when he said it, like that's just what she was. and he was right. i think i may join the voluntary simplicity movement just to listen to this guy talk!
Hey, hey, hey. Don't be dissin' Lionel!
"You're once, twice, THREE TIMES a lady..." What bigger compliment could you want??
"Hello..." He's a friendly guy.
"Dancing On the Ceiling" The guy knew how to par-tay!
"Say You, Say Me" Focused on his woman. No one else.
"All Night Long" Need I say more?
Most of Generation Y was conceived to his music. Ewww--maybe you have a point....
Os, glad you finally saw the light there. His music is torturous to listen to, kind of like Celine Dion.
I can't believe you would all say these things about Lionel!!! OK, sappy lyrics aside, it was the 80's, so spare the man some criticism. You can't say he doesn't have a beautiful singing voice.
And I think Nicole is cute!
She looks a bit like an alien or a dog fit for showing. It's something to do with the way her eyes and mouth and skin color and hair color just don't go together.
i think the problem with nicole is that everything about her is beige -hair, skin, eyes...that weirds me out. constrast please!
and i have a soft spot for lionel's slow song/fast song "Say you, say me"...that's a classic!
I think her colouring is beautiful. What eyes she has.
I have Lionel's Greatest Hits CD
hahahaha!
noni, i don't get you! you diss my glowy jessica but like beige nicole....
promise me if we ever meet in person you'll bring the lionel cd!
I think you misread my meaning. I love the 80s Lionel! Great stuff to include on mix tape for that "special" evening. His music was a staple for marching bands across America for halftime shows in the early 80s--either the up-tempo stuff for a closer, or one of the power ballads for the concert showpiece in the middle. Other than Chuck Mangione, no one else even came close to having as much music played! Lionel was/is the man! Chuck, too!
Tomorrow, class, we'll look at the overuse of early 60s music in junior high band programs....
Mrs. Carrington, when did I diss Jessica Simpson? Have you been spying on me over at "Conversations with Famous People"? LOL
Nicole is posta be beige! She's the bastard child of Sheila E's Latin brother and someone else who isn't white. (she's Lionel's adoptive daughter)
I think Jess has pretty moments, but lately she's looking downright skeletal and leathery. Sick.
Os, Lionel Richie is a staple in my life, okay? Got that?
Chuck...Berry?
