just not enough hours in the day

i am very very behind on my blog reading, it's terrible. it's like there's just not enough time in the day. what the hell am i going to do when i actually get a job?

because i am lame, here are some highlights of the last few days:

  • the last day of school was on thursday. it made me cry that i won't see my boys anymore. i had to run to the bathroom and sob because i didn't want anyone to see me like that. those little shits have no fucking clue that they helped me make it through some very rough times.

  • there was a pole at the bar i was at saturday night. i thought of jen.

  • turns out "the boy" did email me after the drunk arm-wrestling fiasco. i just never got it.

  • what's it with guys liking girls who look like 1976? so not a good look...

  • wimpy handshakes really annoy me.

  • ashton's friends still won't talk to him. ahhh, such great revenge and i didn't have to do a darn thing.

  • men are fucking base individuals. sometimes it's very sad.

i went back to the bar he goes to last night and he asked if i got his email. i'm like, "what email?" and he's said, "wow, you must think i'm a big asshole". yep. apparently he mailed me the day after i saw him. he figure i got the message and decided i didn't want to talk to him. i believe him because he was very upset about it all.

and i didn't dance with the pole. too...many....people....

Are these girls disco mama 1976, suburban-hanging-out-at-the-skating-rink 1976, or punk rock 1976?

like 'hanging out at the skating rink and maybe going to sneak outside to have a smoke later cuz they are so very cool 1976. the kind that desperately need to cut some bangs and get a trim cuz their hair looks like a horse's tail 1976. what's hot about that? yuck!

punk rock or disco mama i would be all over!

Scary. That's what I was thinking: punk or disco- hot; skating rink- not.

A pole. Hmmmm. There's probably a comment to make, but I'm not sure what it would be. Probably just as well. Was there a camera nearby?

Hmmmmmmmm... I was at a bar with a pole this weekend too.

I thought about trying a little pole-dance action but - wouldn't you know - there was an actual stripper in the house, and she hopped up there and smeared herself all over it all night long.

And me without my disinfectant wipes...

I bawled like a toddler when I left my high school teaching job and the little shits who made my life so seemingly hard for a year. I really loved 'em. Still have a pic of them on my TV.

Polly, I had someone squish my hand last week. Surprisingly it was a saleperson from our company. That asshole almost broke my hand in two. I usually match the other person's strength.

637 blog articles behind at the moment.. Shit. If I wasn't such a base individual I'm sure it'd only be 241... :-)

kat, you crack me up! and unfortnately the pole was at a different bar...

os, i think someone took a picture of me with their camera phone.

erin, i was at the Pal but this pole craziness seems to have taken over every bar in the city. handi-wipes are good to keep on hand.

r, i don't know...most men seem so easy to fuck with sometimes. waaaay to easily distracted if you know what i mean.

polly, she was '1976' in that she had the worst one length uneven hair in no style kinda parted on the side, really super tight 70s jeans and just overall gave off a Dazed and Confused kind of vibe, and not in a good way. he even had a 70s name...Tina. coincidentally (or not) she was the one with the wimpy handshake. but i agree, bone-crushers suck as well.

ian, at least you admit it.

Yes. The Pal. That was the pole to which I was referring. The only place in town where you can expect to find a pole AND an off-duty stripper...
